Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology-focused location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through strong communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and respond promptly to any security-related concerns or requests from personnel at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
