This critical role will focus on modernizing architecture, strengthening governance, enhancing operational efficiency, improving DevOps practices, and reducing costs.ResponsibilitiesAssess and redesign existing Azure infrastructure, including networking, security, identity, storage, and compute servicesDesign and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized Azure solutions aligned with business and compliance requirementsDevelop and enforce Azure governance frameworks (policies, blueprints, RBAC, tagging standards, management groups)Analyze Azure spend, identify savings opportunities, and implement cost-optimization strategies (e.g., reserved instances, rightsizing, automation)Design and support CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, reliable deployment of infrastructure and applicationsLeverage Terraform and other infrastructure as code (IaC) tools to build, manage, and document infrastructure in a consistent, repeatable wayChampion DevOps best practices, working closely with development, security, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve agilityCreate comprehensive architecture documentation, design diagrams, and operational runbooksPresent architecture, governance, and optimization recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholdersStay current with Azure advancements, DevOps tooling, and cloud industry best practices to drive continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master's preferred)7+ years of IT infrastructure architecture experience, including at least 3 years designing and implementing Azure environmentsDeep expertise in Azure services (e.g., Active Directory, networking, storage, compute, security)Strong experience designing and managing Azure governance frameworks (Azure Policy, Blueprints, RBAC)Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similarAdvanced proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform and ARM/Bicep templatesSolid understanding of DevOps methodologies, automation, and modern software delivery practicesExcellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and executive stakeholdersProven leadership in driving architectural change and mentoring cross-functional teamsPreferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer AssociateCertifications in cloud governance or security complianceWork at Home Requirements:A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home.A secure home internet connection with speeds >20 Mbps for downloads and >10 Mbps for uploads is required.The workspace area accommodates all workstation equipment and related materials and provides adequate surface area to be productive.Employment is contingent upon eligibility to work in the U.S., employment history verification, and a background check.*Revecore is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex or gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability status, veteran status, genetic information, or any other legally protected status.
