About the Role

The Westin Cincinnati, managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a reliable and hardworking House Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This key position supports both guest-facing and back-of-house operations, ensuring all areas of the hotel remain clean, organized, and well-stocked. By assisting Room Attendants and maintaining shared spaces, you'll help deliver a polished and welcoming environment for every guest.

This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a consistent work ethic. Prior housekeeping or related experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver linens, amenities, and supplies to Room Attendants and storage areas as needed.
  • Remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors and service closets.
  • Clean and maintain hallways, stairwells, elevators, and vending areas.
  • Spot-clean walls, doors, mirrors, signage, and polish elevator interiors and fixtures.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning tasks such as moving furniture and rotating mattresses.
  • Follow all safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest and staff requests.
  • Support overall housekeeping operations to ensure smooth daily workflow.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to assigned schedules.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality roles required.
  • Ability to lift, push, or move up to 100 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodation).
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions safely and accurately.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
