Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Tinter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in window tinting and a strong background in automotive repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The Window Tinter will be responsible for applying window film to vehicles, ensuring high-quality installations that meet industry standards.

Duties

  • Apply window tint film to vehicles with precision and care, ensuring a flawless finish.
  • Conduct glass installation and replacement as needed, utilizing proper techniques and tools.
  • Perform detailing tasks to prepare vehicles for tinting and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the tinting process.
  • Assist with auto body repair tasks as required, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the completion of all tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service quality.

Skills

  • Previous dealership experience is preferred, providing insight into customer expectations and vehicle standards.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
  • Proficient in window tinting techniques, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Knowledge of auto glass installation methods and materials.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Experience with heavy lifting, ensuring safe handling of materials and equipment.
  • Proficient in automotive repair practices, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set in the automotive field.
  • Experience with auto estimating to provide accurate assessments of work needed on vehicles.
