We're looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy and dynamic Endoscopy Center. In this role, you'll demonstrate proficiency in the fundamentals of nursing, contribute to patient assessments, and participate in the evaluation of nursing care.
Our center focuses on digestive and liver diseases, performing both routine and advanced procedures including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and endoscopic ultrasounds. If you love a fast-paced environment where patient care and teamwork go hand in hand, this is the perfect fit for you
On an Average Day, You Will:
- Provide patient care by administering medications and assisting with procedures and treatments.
- Room and prepare patients for examinations, supporting physicians as needed.
- Obtain, verify, and record patient health histories and assessments.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records.
- Manage non-emergent patient calls and provide physician-guided clinical advice.
- Schedule patient procedures and coordinate authorizations/referrals for managed care.
- Accurately communicate prescription refill information per physician direction.
- Promote wellness by educating patients and families.
- Participate in Safety, Quality Assurance, and Performance Improvement activities.
To Qualify, You'll Need:
- Strong time management, multitasking, and care coordination skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Commitment to OSHA safety standards and patient privacy policies
- EHR proficiency and solid computer literacy
- 2 years of clinical experience in PreOp/PostOp care
- Current NC RN license
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching
- Ability to safely assist and reposition patients (up to 75 lbs)
- Fine motor skills and strong visual acuity
