Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and infusion therapy, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality nursing services. This role requires proficiency in various medical procedures and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties:

Administer IV infusions and injections, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and medical history evaluations.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients receiving infusion therapy.

Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.

Provide education and support to patients and families regarding infusion therapies, medications, and self-care techniques.

Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during infusion treatments, responding promptly to any emergencies.

Utilize EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner for patient record management and documentation.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards for patient care.

Job Details:

  • 40 hours/week Monday-Friday 7:30-4 and/or 8-4:30
  • Can do 4, 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hours shifts.
  • 10 hour shifts are 7-530
  • 8 hour shifts are 8-430.
  • Current MA License & BLS Required
  • Infusion experience required
  • oncology infusion experience
  • EPIC Experience required
  • Previous travel experience preferred.
  • flu vaccine required
  • If candidate does not have current flu vaccine, we will accept an attestation stating they will receive it prior to start.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $3,008.00 per week
