Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up restaurant construction. The ideal candidate will oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive the project schedule from groundbreaking to grand opening. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can represent Nino Development with professionalism and confidence on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities for ground-up restaurant projects.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain schedule and quality.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure full project compliance.
- Implement and enforce job site safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Conduct daily and weekly progress meetings with project teams and clients.
- Track material deliveries, inspections, and change orders to keep the project moving efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to monitor budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, photo documentation, and project reporting.
- Ensure final punch list completion and client satisfaction at turnover.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up commercial or restaurant construction.
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, schedules, and cost control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel locally within the Boston area.
