Senior Director, Product Solutions, Enterprise Identity and Data

The purpose of this role is to support the Solutions Director with the development of solutions programs. This includes the program management of the solutions development process on behalf of the Solution Director, alongside frequent communication with stakeholders within the lines of businesses and the management of subject matter expert communities for each solutions effort.

Dentsu.Audiences, Dentsu's global identity and data platform and a pioneer in the industry of enterprise person-based identity and data products that enable total experience and personalization at scale is seeking a Senior Director of Product Solutions, US to help continue to drive revenue and market growth for its business. The role will work in collaboration with Dentsu Growth and Client Service leaders as well as capability experts (ex: tech consulting and strategy, data, customer experience, media) to lead and solution client sales opportunities for Dentsu's identity, consumer data and data clean room products.
Key Responsibilities
The role is expected to support proactive new business opportunities and RFPs as well as existing client upsell opportunities to senior level clients. Responsibilities include qualification of client sales opportunities through early stage discovery and situation analysis of business goals, mar-tech stacks, tech, identity and data partners, priority use-cases and strategies. Candidates will be expected to be subject matter experts in support of the development of dentsu.audiences product presentations that clearly illustrate how we enable and drive business value across use-cases such as real-time personalization and CRM, enterprise identity and 1st-party data management to best understand and target customers and wider prospects across channels, addressable media and more.
Additional responsibilities include collaboration with sales and business leaders to develop appropriate product fees for client use-cases and requirements across opportunities, as well as ensuring that contracts and any required data privacy and regulatory steps and standards are managed effectively.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a sales or solutions leader in a relevant company and position to be at the forefront of innovation in the rapidly growing identity and data industry. This is a visible role across Merkle and the wider dentsu agency network that will report to the Vice President of Identity and Data Solutions and be expected to partner and collaborate with various Merkle and dentsu leaders as well as partner leaders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, analytics or technology
- 7+ years of experience in a database, CRM strategy, mar-tech, ad-tech or data sales or solution leadership role.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ideally across multiple lines of business and team members involved in complex sales opportunities
- Strength in summarizing client situations and opportunities and translating into clear product sales and solution opportunities and presentations.
- Knowledge and experience with identity and data companies and solutions for marketing and media audience targeting, analytics and measurement
- Knowledge of and experience working with leading mar-tech platforms such as DMPs, CDPs, marketing clouds and/or data environments and tech companies (ex: AWS, Google Cloud, MSFT Azure, Snowflake, etc.) as part of sales, partnership or solutioning efforts.
- Experience organizing and communicating sales opportunity status or collaborating with sales leaders to ensure key information, stage, sizing of potential deals is reported accurately and consistently.
- Experience in pitch situations representing identity resolution, 3rd-party consumer data for analytics and marketing use, mar-tech within an organization's technology stack, and knowledge of current ecosystem and solutions in media (addressable, identity, data for targeting)
- Experience collaborating with business and sales leads to develop product or solution pricing and contracts, and collaboration on negations with clients
The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Benefits available with this position include:
