In partnership with our client, a technology-driven company that specializes in supply chain risk management and compliance solutions, we are seeking an experienced
AI Solutions Engineer
located at their
Huntsville, AL
facility. The right candidate will design, build, and optimize data solutions that enable companies' platform for Department of Defense and Department of War Service customers. This is a direct hire opportunity.

JOB SUMMARY

This role combines data engineering expertise with AI/ML skills to support mission-critical transformation projects, modernize systems, and deliver actionable supply chain risk and parts intelligence. Operating at the intersection of technology and mission, this individual ensures data pipelines, models, and integrations deliver measurable impact for government clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, cleansing, and transforming supply chain and risk-related datasets.
• Apply AI/ML methods to enhance predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and risk identification within SCRM workflows.
• Integrate AI-driven analytics into companies SaaS platform through APIs, data services, and system interfaces.
• Partner with program directors, data scientists, and software engineers to operationalize models into production systems.
• Cleanse and enrich customer provided data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, data visualizations, and reporting solutions to enable decision-making by senior government stakeholders.
• Ensure quality, integrity, and security of data across all program implementations.
• Support delivery of transformation projects by modernizing customer data environments and enabling advanced risk analytics.
• Contribute to agile delivery cycles, from design and testing through deployment.
• Periodically provide updates on data pipelines, AI performance metrics, and customer value realization.

REQUIRED
QUALITIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or applied AI/ML development.
• Proficiency in SQL with strong database design and query optimization skills.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Strong programming experience in Python; additional experience with Java, Scala, or similar a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and ability to operationalize models.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools (Sisense, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Familiarity with data architecture, system integration, and modern data structures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and retain a US Government security clearance.
