Station Manager

By applying technical expertise, synergy, efficiency, and the highest quality standards in everything that we do, Magnum separates ourselves from our competitors in all the services that we offer.Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Station Manager oversees activities related to the assigned Station to ensure overall productivity of services provided. This position is responsible to ensure resources are appropriately scheduled and available to support jobs undertaken, as well as that all quality and health and safety standards are met. The Station Manager is responsible for managing and directing all employees of the Station location. This position is considered to be a safety-sensitive position. Job ResponsibilitiesRecommend, organize, plan, and schedule crew, equipment, and materials needed to meet service requirements for jobs.Ensure effective resource planning for Station location.Recommend and support quality of service, as well as health and safety programs.Ensure the maintenance schedule for equipment is in place and maintained.Oversee and review the work undertaken by field crew and assist Supervisors in planning and preparing activities.Supervise, evaluate, and manage employees, including completing regular performance reviews.Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, ensure that safe practices and preventative maintenance are in place, and initiate corrective actions as required.Ensure that inspection schedules are maintained and follow up on any issues with equipment and/or personnel.Ensure high service delivery for clients on jobs undertaken; report any issues that require a higher level of priority, as needed.Provide reports as needed and ensure compliance with company policies and other relevant standards, including applicable legislation.Support and implement policies, standards, or procedures to support the field operations.Participate in training and development activities.Other related duties as required.Qualifications - RequiredExperience in progressively responsible positions, including supervisory or management positions directing the work of others, within the oil and gas service sector, preferably in field positions.Able to work with high degree of independence, directing the work of others.Prior experience and understanding of the operation of cement pumping and mixing equipment.Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.Able to work overtime and travel.Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.Qualifications - Looking ForGood project management skills and decision-making abilities.Understanding of applicable HSE legislation.Experienced in the use of MS Office and/or other software tools.Customer service focused, both internal and external to the business.Good communication skills, both spoken and written.Qualifications - AssetsRelated degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), or other technical business training.High degree of flexibility and adaptable to changing priorities.Familiar with applicable regulations and paperwork.Experience and ability to lead, motivate, and manage employees to meet objectives, efficiently schedule staff to handle volume of jobs undertaken.Reliable and dependable.
