Job Details:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative
GIS Analyst
to join our Enablement Team, supporting the
Branch Location Management
product with PowerBI, SQL experiences

This role is critical in driving data-informed decisions for branch network optimization, including new site selection, relocations, and closures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial analysis and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights.

In this role, you will:

Geospatial Analysis & Modeling:

  • Calculate
    population reach
    ,
    demographic coverage
    , and
    market potential
    for existing and prospective branch locations.
  • Generate
    drive-time and walk-time maps
    using network analysis to assess accessibility and service areas.
  • Support
    retail node creation and maintenance
    , ensuring accurate and up-to-date spatial hierarchies.

Business Case Support:

  • Mass-produce
    customized maps and spatial reports
    for de novo, relocation, and closure business case packages.
  • Collaborate with strategy, real estate, and finance teams to integrate GIS insights into broader decision-making frameworks.

Data Management & Automation:

  • Maintain and update geospatial datasets, including branch locations, competitor footprints, and demographic layers.
  • Develop and optimize
    automated workflows
    for recurring spatial analysis tasks and map production.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Translate complex spatial data into clear, compelling visualizations and narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide ad hoc spatial analysis and mapping support to cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a GIS Analyst or similar role, preferably in retail, banking, or location strategy.
  • Strong understanding of demographic data, market segmentation, and spatial statistics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format.
  • Knowledge of retail site selection principles and location intelligence best practices.
