Salary:
$90,000- $115,000/year

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Informatics Business Analyst to join our team remotely. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the healthcare sector, ensuring that data-driven decisions are informed and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to healthcare informatics.
• Develop and document functional specifications, use cases, and process flows for new systems and enhancements.
• Facilitate SCRUM meetings and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and validate outputs against requirements.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes, using SQL and PostgreSQL as necessary.
• Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement through the implementation of technology and data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, ERISA, and ADA.

• Experience with health data management, EDI standards, and third-party administration (TPA) processes is a plus.

• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL for data analysis and reporting.
