We're Hiring: Senior Project Manager

Stelco Electric | Monroe, NC | Full-Time

Lead the Future of Electrical Construction at Stelco Electric

At Stelco Electric, we power some of the region's most respected commercial and industrial projects — and we're continuing to grow with purpose. Built on three generations of integrity, craftsmanship, and community, we're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical projects and mentor the next generation of leaders within our team.

This is your opportunity to join a company where your experience drives innovation, your leadership shapes our future, and your impact is seen in every project you deliver.

What We Offer

  • Competitive, senior-level compensation package
  • Comprehensive benefits — health, dental, vision, and retirement
  • Modern project management systems and field technology
  • A collaborative, growth-focused environment that values leadership
  • Opportunity to influence company processes and mentor junior managers

Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple complex commercial and industrial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll serve as a strategic leader — ensuring alignment across operations, field teams, and clients while maintaining Stelco's standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple large-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Provide strategic oversight of project planning, staffing, and financial performance
  • Collaborate with estimators and executives on bid reviews and project forecasting
  • Supervise and mentor Project Managers, Foremen, and field staff
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Review and approve project schedules, change orders, and cost reports
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, and regulatory standards
  • Represent Stelco Electric in client meetings and industry partnerships

What You Bring

  • 8–12+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial electrical projects
  • Proven success leading project teams and overseeing multiple concurrent jobs
  • Strong financial and operational acumen in project management
  • Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, and reporting systems
  • Deep understanding of electrical construction practices, codes, and safety standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, accountable, and mentoring mindset

Requirements

  • Licensed electrician or equivalent field/project management experience
  • Demonstrated success managing project budgets over $1M
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and construction documents

Build your legacy with a company that values leadership, integrity, and growth.

Join Stelco Electric — where experience meets opportunity.
