Job Title: Hospitality Associate

Job Status: Part Time / Hourly

Supervisor: Operations Director

Job Summary: The Hospitality Associate's primary responsibility is greeting guests of the Daybreak Program, directing them to and assisting them with available services.

Essential Duties:

· Help to navigate guests around the building.

· Provide the utmost of hospitality, compassion, heartfelt care, and service in all interactions.

· Ensure that all guests check in at the Gateway Station.

· Oversee the management of guests in common areas and inform the Gateway Station of any problematic behaviors or interactions.

· Assist guests with utilizing laundry facilities including operating the laundry machines and educating guests on laundering clothes.

· Assist guests with utilizing shower facilities, including directing guests to showers, providing towels and toiletries.

· Wash, dry and fold towels and washcloths.

· Upkeep of common areas.

· Maintain an organized Hospitality Station.

· Direct guests to the Gateway Station for unfulfilled needs.

· Oversee a team of volunteers.

Other

· Honor guest confidentiality, HIPPA and other regulations as identified.

· Attend and participate in regular staff and community meetings as assigned.

· Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· Positive, diplomatic, and professional attitude.

· Good social aptitude and communication skills. Especially with those experiencing mental illness, substance abuse, and/or with a significant trauma history.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Depedable, mature, and responsible.

Qualification Standards

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Must have own transportation.

Ergonomic Requirements

Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, standard lifting (15 pounds), carrying, some repetitive movements. All the ergonomic requirements must be performed without significant risk of injury to oneself or others, or otherwise demonstrate or explain how one can perform essential functions listed above.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
