We are seeking a full-time Overnight Cleaner for a retail setting with experience in the cleaning and maintenance industry. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and a strong sense of work ethic.

As an Overnight Cleaner, you will play a vital role in the success of our organization by maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable environment at the site. You represent our company and are expected to demonstrate professionalism and responsibility at all times.

Schedule/Shift:

Five days (Pending), weekends are a must. | 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bilingual - Must speak English and Spanish
  • Ability to travel and commute to Manhattan, NY
  • Strong communicative skills
  • Able to follow directions and work with minimal supervision, as well as in a team.

Responsibilities:

Client/Guest Focus

  • Maintain a client/guest-focused attitude at all times while on the clock.

Punctuality and Appearance

  • Report to work on time and perform work duties punctually.
  • Maintain a clean and neatly groomed uniform in accordance with Safety's Uniform Policy.

Facility Maintenance

  • Keep the sales floor and bathrooms clean and safe at all times.
  • Perform daily/weekly walkthroughs of assigned areas (e.g., kitchen, common areas, bathrooms).
  • Complete a weekly deep cleaning checklist as needed.

Equipment and Supplies Management

  • Properly store, use, and maintain all equipment.
  • Handle cleaning supplies responsibly and monitor inventory levels.

Communication

  • Report any facility-related work or maintenance needs to the management team.

Physical Requirements: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement.
