Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit (01), and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by (03) percent and will receive five hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
CCHCS seeks to fill a permanent full-time Personnel Supervisor I position at the California Correctional Health Care Facility in Stockton. This position is responsible for training and supervising Personnel Specialists.
Under general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Personnel Supervisor I is responsible for training and supervising Personnel Specialists in providing complete payroll and personnel transactions services for approximately 2,612 staff located at the California Health Care Facility (CHCF) Stockton. The Personnel Supervisor I provides functional supervision on the more complex and sensitive personnel transaction issues to all transactions staff department-wide.
This position is located in Human Resources (HR), which delivers innovative programs and services that attract, cultivate, and serve a diverse, highly-qualified workforce. California Correctional Health Care Services' HR professionals provide outstanding customer service, provide tools and resources for job development and advancement, and ensure fairness and accuracy in all aspects of HR.
