Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media platforms, branding, and digital trends, with a desire to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in developing engaging content, analyzing campaign performance, and supporting overall brand visibility across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.
  • Monitor social listening channels to gather insights on audience preferences and industry trends.
  • Support the development of visual content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to enhance brand presence.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve content visibility and engagement.
  • Analyze web and social media analytics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the team on branding initiatives, public relations efforts, and e-commerce strategies.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy, consistency, and brand tone before publishing.
  • Assist with Facebook Advertising campaigns and other paid social media promotions to increase reach and engagement.
  • Support photography and video editing projects to produce high-quality multimedia content for various platforms.
  • Engage with followers to foster relationships and manage online reputation through relationship management strategies.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing tools.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and web analytics including Google Analytics.
  • Ability to create compelling graphics, videos, and written content tailored for digital audiences.
  • Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within teams and external partners.
  • Basic understanding of public relations, branding, e-commerce, and digital marketing principles.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design, photography skills are a plus. This internship provides valuable experience in social media marketing within a professional setting while helping you build a portfolio of work that showcases your skills in digital marketing, content creation, and brand management.
