JOB SUMMARY:

This position combines elements of commercial and operational nature therefore providing exposure to the company's core structure and diverse cargo handling activity. The candidate will be focusing on studying/analyzing data of our business trend while contributing into the creation and maintenance of in-house statistics, reports, and business Intelligence. The candidate will monitor and analyze competitor activities and market trend.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain reporting reports and run statistics
  • Prepare competition analysis: Track pricing, capacity, routes, transit time, alliances, and services of main Carriers with same range of ports and cargo type
  • Develop dashboards and reports for management on competitor strategies and market positioning.
  • The candidate will prepare monthly analysis of the market in our industry to send to commercial management.
  • Prepare statistics and presentations for sales or Trade management meetings
  • Participate and contribute to analysis projects joining commercial and/or operation colleagues
  • Create and maintain flyers, and other commercial support documents

GENERAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Good communication skills written and verbal with ability to summarize information in an accurate and concise manner.
  • Well organized and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Advanced PC – MS office user, with essential requirement Very Strong MS EXCEL capabilities. Power BI understanding will be considered an advantage.
  • Effective as an individual with own initiative but equally capable of being part of a team.
  • Flexible, adaptable to changes and understanding priorities
