Are you eager to kickstart your career in project management and play a crucial role in bringing construction projects to successful completion? At Project Support Services, we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will be a key player in planning, gathering data, coordinating, and expediting project certification processes, ensuring seamless closeout packages for our clients in the education sector.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in planning and coordinating all aspects of project closeout, ensuring that goals are achieved within the specified schedule, scope, and budget.
- Prepare and compile closeout packages, ensuring that all required documents are complete and submitted promptly.
- Manage project files in our document control software, ensuring all information is organized and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, inspectors, and School District personnel to ensure project milestones are met and issues are promptly addressed.
- Support Project Managers with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, meeting agendas, and managing project-related correspondence.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in project coordination, planning, and reporting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn new software applications. Knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to upholding company values and standards.
