Shifts needed: Sundays 8a-6p.
Here are some key points about our services:
- Nursing Opportunities: We're always seeking compassionate nurses to join our team. Whether you're a seasoned RN/LPN or a new grad, you're welcome to apply. Worried about losing skills? Our diverse cases ensure that nurses gain valuable experience across various medical conditions.
- We specialize in providing Continuous Care Nursing for medically complex children and adults. Our nurses work 1-on-1 with patients in their homes, schools, or community settings. Our goal is to help families navigate the complexities of their loved one's medical care, ensuring patients can stay at home and avoid hospitalization.
- Diverse Cases: Our cases cover a wide spectrum, from general nursing care to extremely complex ICU-level home care. Most of our patients face feeding challenges and are either G or J-tube feeding dependent. Others may have tracheostomies requiring ventilator support, seizure disorders, ostomy appliances, wound management needs, or diabetic maintenance.
- Pay Rates: Our pay rates vary based on differentials:
RN: $57.68/$59.68/$61.68 per hour
LPN: $41.50/$43.50/$45.50 per hour
- Benefits Package: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Paid Sick/Earned Time, Medical, Dental, Vision, 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Flexible Spending Account, Pet Insurance, Legal & Identity Theft Protection, & Tuition Reimbursement.
Additionally, to join our team at NortheastArc-Clinical Services, nurses need to meet the following qualifications:
- Licensure: Nurses must hold a valid RN/LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience & Clinical Competence: Proficiency in nursing skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving is crucial. Team members should be well-versed in handling diverse medical conditions. While we welcome new grads, having some clinical experience is beneficial. Our cases range from general nursing care to complex ICU-level home care, so a diverse skill set is valuable.
- Compassion and Empathy: We seek nurses who are compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Our focus extends beyond medical needs to the social-emotional well-being of our patients. Compassionate team members create a positive impact on the lives of our patients and families.
- Adaptability: Our cases vary significantly. Nurses who can adapt to different patient needs, environments, and challenges thrive in our team. Our cases cover various conditions, including feeding challenges, tracheostomies, ventilator support, seizure disorders, and more.
- Team Player: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, families, and interdisciplinary teams is fundamental. Collaboration is essential and crucial for success; Team players contribute to better patient outcomes.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication is key. Nurses must communicate clearly with patients, families, and our team. Clear communication with patients, families, and colleagues ensures smooth collaboration and quality care.
- Professionalism: Punctuality, reliability, and maintaining ethical standards are highly valued.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Respect for diverse backgrounds and cultural competence is vital. Our patients come from various communities, and understanding their unique needs is essential.
- Social-Emotional Well-Being Awareness: While managing complex medical care at home is our primary focus, we equally prioritize our patients' social-emotional health. We understand the importance of maintaining family roles and preventing loved ones from becoming the primary "nurse."
