Maintenance Technician – ManufacturingPosition Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the smooth operation of all production and facility equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems critical to plant performance. Must have 5 consecutive years of maintenance experience to be considered, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure equipment uptime
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Diagnose and resolve advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Partner with production leadership to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Engineer solutions to prevent repeat equipment failures and enhance reliability
- Ensure all work follows proper safety protocols and company standards
- Support additional technical needs as required
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with automated or palletized assembly systems highly preferred
- Advanced understanding of sensors, switches, and pneumatic components
- Skilled with vibratory feeder bowls and automated small-part feeding systems
- Ability to operate manual shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder) with precision tolerances of ±0.1mm
- Welding and basic fabrication capabilities (MIG/TIG/Stick)
- General electrical and plumbing aptitude for facility-level repair needs

Work Environment & Requirements
- Full-time hourly role
- Standard schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (overtime as needed) 1st shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
