Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing art curriculum, providing instruction to students, and fostering a love for art in a supportive and inclusive environment. Duties: - Develop and implement engaging art curriculum that aligns with educational standards - Teach students various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media - Provide individual and group instruction to students of different ages and skill levels - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression - Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and evaluations - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into interdisciplinary lessons - Organize and display student artwork for exhibitions or showcases - Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate new techniques or technologies into lessons Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field (Master's degree preferred) - Valid teaching certification or license - Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning - Strong knowledge of various art techniques and materials - Ability to work with diverse student populations, including special education students - Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues - Proficient in learning technology tools for art education - Attention to detail for proofreading student work Benefits: - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience - Professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills - Supportive work environment with collaborative colleagues If you are passionate about art education and inspiring young minds through creativity, we encourage you to apply for the position of Art Teacher.
