Bagging Specialist

The position of Bagging Specialist bags and/or reconfigures products by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties as assigned.)

Operates forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and other material handling equipment to move products in and out of storage.

Where appropriate, use schematics to build or reconfigure products. 

Prepares Bagging products for shipment to customers.

Completes detailed production and inventory information and submits for completion. 

Follows approved Bagging procedures and methods.

Maintains accurate physical inventory.

Responsible for work area cleanliness and organization.

Works to integrate Lean, 5S, or other operational excellence programs – help train our staff, communicate new ways of doing things, and enforces the new behaviors that are expected.

Ensures the proper use of the Netafim USA ISO Quality System within areas of responsibility.  

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include the following.

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Equipment certification (forklift, reach truck, order picker)

SKILLS

Interpersonal- the ability to work within the team environment to accomplish specified goals

Communication – effective verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills- desired

Experience with SAP

Fluent in English
