SENIOR AUDIO VIDEO INTEGRATED TECHNICIAN

We are currently seeking a Senior Audio Video Integrated Technician to play a pivotal role in the installation, integration, maintenance and troubleshooting of technical audio video systems. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing installation resources and ensuring the smooth operation and deployment of the LUCI system solution. Reporting directly to our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be integral in supporting various project-related installation initiatives.

This position is located within our operations department, with its primary base in Las Vegas, NV. Extensive travel will be necessary to meet client demands across the United States.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in AV and Technology system installation, maintenance or management, preferably within a hospitality environment.
  • Experienced technical background with understanding of AV and IT terminology.
  • Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of a wide range of AV equipment, including IPTV, DLED Systems, projectors, displays, audio DSP processors, control systems, etc.
  • Strong understanding of network configurations and their impact on AV systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent cable termination and rack-building skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and programming used in AV integration.
  • Proven track record of successfully integrating and supporting technical projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience in utilizing project management tools and software for tracking progress, scheduling, and installation management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines and project goals.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and timelines, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and contribute effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, technicians and other stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Previous involvement in projects that involved technology deployments, system integrations, or software development is highly desirable.
  • Experience working under direct supervision of higher-level management, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and objectives.

As an Integrated Audio Video Technician:

You will play a vital role in the successful execution of LUCI projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, stakeholders, and vendors to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality technical solutions. Your role begins during the onboarding of clients and extends throughout the entire project lifecycle until completion and signoff. Your primary responsibility involves overseeing the installation and integration of the project, ensuring meticulous attention to all field related project aspects. This encompasses:

Client Onboarding:

· Collaborating with the project coordinator, to gather client requirements and expectations.

· Conducting initial meetings to set project expectations, define goals, and establish communication channels.

Project Planning:

· Implement the comprehensive project plans using our client engaging platform, encompassing scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.

· Collaborating with technical teams to coordinate and install the specific tasks, dependencies, and milestones.

Risk Management:

· Identifying potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery or quality.

· Developing risk mitigation strategies and regularly monitoring and reassessing risks throughout the project.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

· Collaborating with management to establish and maintain project orders, budgets and onsite expenses.

· Monitoring costs, ensuring adherence to budget constraints, and justifying variances.

Onsite Technical Oversight:

· Utilizing technical expertise to guide the teams in making sound technical decisions aligned with project objectives and requirements.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and client-specific technical and regulatory requirements.

Client Engagement:

· Maintaining regular communication with clients while onsite, providing updates on project progress, and addressing any concerns.

· Seeking client feedback to ensure alignment with expectations and making adjustments as needed including refinement of the integration process.

Quality Assurance:

· Enforcing quality standards and conducting periodic reviews to ensure the delivered solution meets the defined quality criteria.

· Implementing corrective actions and process improvements to enhance project quality.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Overseeing the maintenance of accurate project documentation, including ongoing as builts and redlines, technical specifications, and comprehensive notes.

· Generating and presenting regular status reports to executive stakeholders, summarizing project advancements, issues, and resolutions.

Completion and Signoff:

· Orchestrating the project's final stages, ensuring all deliverables are completed and reviewed against acceptance criteria.

· Facilitating the formal onsite training process, confirming client satisfaction, project success and notifications.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree or master's degree (preferred) in computer science, information systems & technology, computer engineering or related technical fields from an accredited school and or relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CEDIA, AVIXA).

· Minimum of five (5) years of real world experience working on technical audio video integration projects.

Compensation Package:

The compensation package for the Technical Project Coordinator role at LUCI includes a competitive salary based on experience and several benefits to enhance work-life balance and overall well-being. Here's a breakdown of the compensation package:

Salary:

· The salary is based on experience and ranges from $60,000 to $130,000+ per year. Plus annual bonus, qualifying incentive plan and commissions.

Paid Time Off (PTO):

· 8 paid holidays and 80 hours of PTO are provided annually, allowing for flexibility in taking time off.

End of Year Holiday Break:

· A year-end holiday break, typically of 10 business days, provides an extended period for relaxation and rejuvenation.

PTO Accumulation:

· PTO begins after 90 days of service, allowing employees to start accumulating paid time off early in their tenure.

· A full-time Integrated Project Technician typically works standard office hours, which typically range from 38 to 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required during busy project phases or to meet deadlines.
