Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care/urgent care healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care across various settings, including primary care, urgent care, and specialty services. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare, with an emphasis on patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. The successful candidate will be proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems and have experience in diverse clinical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and catheterization.
  • Administer medications and injections as necessary.
  • Provide education to patients regarding health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage acute pain, chronic conditions, and provide urgent care when required.
  • Engage in telehealth consultations to enhance patient accessibility.

Qualifications

  • Valid certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth
  • Strong background in primary care, urgent care,, geriatrics.
  • Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding practices is advantageous.
  • Clinical experience is desireable.
  • Bilingual is not required but favored.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead by example.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100, $115,000.00 per year
