Key responsibilities

1 Platform management Install configure upgrade and maintain Tableau ServerCloud environments

2 User and security management Manage user accounts groups roles and permissions to ensure data security and compliance with policies Implement and support Single SignOn SSO and Active Directory AD integration

3 Performance and optimization Monitor server health performance and resource utilization Troubleshoot issues optimize performance bottlenecks and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery

4 Content and extract administration Manage scheduled data extracts data connections and workflows Support users in publishing dashboards and workbooks

5 Support and training Provide technical support training and guidance to users on using Tableau effectively

6 Compliance and governance Work with IT and data teams to implement data governance and compliance practices

7 Documentation and best practices Develop and document standards and best practices for the platform

Required skills and experience

1 Technical expertise Proficiency with Tableau ServerCloud including installation configuration and maintenance

2 Scripting and automation Experience with scripting tools like PowerShell to automate administrative tasks

3 Performance tuning Ability to monitor and optimize server performance and troubleshoot issues

4 Security awareness Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices

5 Communication Strong communication skills to provide support and training to users and collaborate with other teams

Responsibilities

Administration

1 Install configure and deploy the MicroStrategy platform and its client tools

2 Perform security administration including managing user accounts roles and permissions

3 Administer and maintain MicroStrategy servers from both the operating system and MicroStrategy tool perspectives

4 Perform capacity planning monitoring and performance tuning of the MicroStrategy infrastructure

5 Manage the migration of reports dashboards and other objects between development testing and production environments

6 Set up monitoring and s for key performance indicators

7 Troubleshoot reporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations reports and dashboards

Development

1 Design develop and maintain MicroStrategy reports dashboards and documents using tools like MicroStrategy Web Desktop and Mobile

2 Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and create visually effective userfriendly solutions

3 Develop and optimize semantic models for selfservice and enterprise reporting

4 Write and tune SQL queries to support report development

5 Ensure data accuracy and consistency through thorough testing and validation

6 Provide deployment and postproduction support

Required skills and experience

1Strong experience with the MicroStrategy platform including tools like Developer Administrator Command Manager Object Manager and Architect

2 Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and report development

3 Handson experience with server administration including installation configuration and maintenance

4 Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux UNIX is often required

5 Experience with application and web servers like Tomcat or Apache is beneficial

6 Knowledge of MicroStrategy SDK is a plus

7 Good communication and problem-solving skills
