Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to provide strategic and analytical guidance across business and technology initiatives. This role plays a key part in aligning application platforms and IT solutions with current and future business objectives, while ensuring operational efficiency, risk management, and high-quality system documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, delivering insights and recommendations that inform platform strategy, enhancements, and investments
  • Develop a deep understanding of business operations, application platforms, and long-term technology direction to guide solution evaluation and decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and surface opportunities across initiatives
  • Analyze complex business challenges using advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Lead and contribute to the definition, documentation, and validation of business and system requirements for applications, platforms, and data solutions
  • Support testing, deployment, and implementation of new systems or enhancements to ensure contractual and operational needs are met
  • Help define, implement, and maintain standards, policies, and best practices for system and end-user documentation
  • Contribute to quality assurance practices, documentation standards, and governance processes for applications and platforms
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and task direction to team members, with input into performance and professional development as needed
  • Ensure business and technology risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in alignment with compliance and risk management frameworks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and additional relevant professional experience
  • At least six years of experience analyzing IT business processes, application or platform design, or technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of application platforms, data systems, operational workflows, and the full software development lifecycle, including testing activities
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining workflow documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with risk and control frameworks, including identifying gaps, documenting controls, and supporting control testing
  • Successful completion of an analyst assessment may be required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience supporting and owning SAP applications, particularly within treasury functions such as liquidity and cash management
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated proactive mindset with a strong focus on practical, solution-oriented outcomes
  • Military service background or affiliation as a military spouse or domestic partner
