Job Description

As a Security Officer - CRE Reception Desk in Fort Lee, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a prominent commercial real estate location. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access, greeting visitors, and assisting tenants while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with property management and/or emergency services.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site procedures.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to help to deter potential security-related issues at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
