The care and continued evolution of WEBTOON's organic social activities is critical to success in the digital comics space in the US. Social Media Associate will ideate entertaining video concepts based on WEBTOON's series and brand personality by keeping a pulse on trending pop-culture to capture the attention of Gen-Z audiences. This integral role will work with internal and external stakeholders across all functions to drive organic growth of the brand. You will have the rare opportunity of defining an exceptional brand within social media by utilizing your experience, subject-matter knowledge and creativity to offer original and creative solutions to marketing and business opportunities.  Social Media Associate will report into Social Media Manager and work closely with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Partnerships, Creative, and Content as well as external partners. 

**This is a full-time position, expected to work in our LA office 3x a week**

What You Will Do
  • Produce, create, and edit social media concepts to a final product that entertains and engages our target audience including but not limited to comic, action, fantasy, anime, and gaming fans 
  • Clearly articulate creative needs, ensuring that the Creative team is best positioned to develop creative solutions that align with the social team's KPIs and messaging is consistent with brand tone and voice. 
  • Update and track multiple content creation and upload schedules to ensure timely delivery of creative assets by working closely with internal Creative team and external partners
  • Help grow our community by constantly engaging with the community through extensive community listening and sharing content that best portray WEBTOON's unique brand voice. 
  • Schedule, organize, and monitor content performance with social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, CreatorIQ) 
  • Stay abreast of social user trends and shifting behavior to be a social trendsetter and reflect learnings in content pitches and social media reports  
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience producing social media content in the entertainment space 
  • You have proven record of content that increased reach and engagements of the channel(s) you managed 
  • You're overflowing with social media ideas based on pop culture, memes, and stories 
  • You thrive on producing entertaining, trending content that resonates with Gen-Z audiences
  • As a HUGE plus, you're deeply engaged in WEBTOON and entertainment, especially with action, fantasy, anime, and gaming
  • You must be knowledgeable about social media platforms from the brand perspective, including (but not limited to) TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram
  • You are proficient in performing quantitative analysis on new follower acquisition/engagement and social media conversions  
  • You can work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple projects with enthusiasm and attention to detail
