About us: Toria's Support Care Services, Inc. (TSCS) is a trusted provider of residential and healthcare services for individuals with developmental disabilities and long-term care needs. We operate multiple state-licensed programs, including Osborne Group Home, Toria's Assisted Living Facility I & II, and are expanding with additional community-based residential homes under the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

Position Overview:

The Manager serves as the operational leader for the assigned facilities, providing oversight for staff, residents, and compliance with all APD, AHCA, and CMS standards. This role works directly with the CEO, Nurse Supervisor, and Resident Care Team to ensure that all care, documentation, and service delivery meet regulatory and organizational expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervision

• Provide daily operational oversight of residential staff, nursing, and care coordination.
• Support team performance through coaching, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain compliance with APD 65G, AHCA 59A-36, and CMS 42 CFR regulations.
• Oversee completion of medical, behavioral, and training documentation in iConnect.
• Ensure staff meet all mandatory training requirements (65G-7, 65G-8, infection control, CPR, etc.)
• Participate in internal and external audits, including Qlarant and AHCA surveys.

Resident Care Oversight

• Review and monitor individual care plans, MARs, and progress notes.
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians, guardians, and support coordinators.
• Ensure timely reporting of incidents, behavioral changes, and follow-up actions.

Administrative & Facility Management

• Conduct weekly staff meetings and oversight visits.
• Review payroll, scheduling, and staff attendance.
• Manage supply inventory, maintenance requests, and overall facility readiness.
• Assist in onboarding and orientation of new employees.

Qualifications

• Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Human Services, Nursing, or related field. (preferred)
• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in an APD or AHCA-related setting (Residential Habilitation, Group Home, or Assisted Living).
• Strong understanding of APD iBudget Handbook, 65G-7, 65G-8, and AHCA rules.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Must pass Level II background screening and maintain valid CPR/ First Aid certification.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Assisted Living Facility Minimum Competency Training.
• TRAIN Florida and APD training.
