 We are seeking to hire a Fragrance Evaluation & Development Manager. You will lead the strategic development, selection, and positioning of fragrances across multiple product categories. This role demands a refined olfactive sense, a strong command of fragrance vocabulary, and the ability to drive olfactive trends through market research and consumer insights. You will inspire perfumers with creative direction, ensure alignment with brand identity, and contribute to the innovation pipeline by staying ahead of industry developments and launches. This position requires advanced project management skills and a collaborative mindset to influence cross-functional teams and clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation and selection of winning fragrance submissions, ensuring alignment with market trends, brand identity, and project briefs.
  • Translate consumer preferences and lifestyle shifts into olfactive direction and fragrance concepts.
  • Drive olfactive trend forecasting through continuous market research and competitive analysis.
  • Inspire and guide perfumers with visionary olfactive briefs and constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the fragrance development lifecycle from brief to client submission.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Creative R&D, Technical, and Consumer Science to ensure fragrance concepts support brand and product strategies.
  • Analyze market data, consumer behavior, and product launches to identify emerging olfactive trends.
  • Lead olfactive evaluation sessions, stability testing, and performance assessments.
  • Present fragrance recommendations with confidence and clarity, supported by sensory analysis and market relevance.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred.
  • 5–10 years of fragrance evaluation, development, or product development experience required.
  • Proven ability to lead fragrance development across diverse categories.
  • Strong olfactive discernment and vocabulary; olfactive testing required.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate olfactive experiences and provide feedback.
  • Passion for fragrance, curiosity, and creativity are essential.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced olfactive expertise and sensory analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in trend forecasting and market analysis.
