DRD Pool Management, Inc. is hiring for Mount Airy area swimming club managers and is also hiring managers from Howard, to Baltimore, and Carroll County locations. This position is seasonal and lasts from spring through Labor Day existing as a part-time position at the start and end of the season with fulltime hours during the summer and a portion of weekday and weekend availability when part-time.

Our Mount Airy swim club manager is an outdoor role, which has responsibilities including not only the oversight of the lifeguard staff, but also the operation of the facility and safety policy enforcement in accordance with DRD protocols, the associated board of directors for the pool facility and the local health department.

For this role it is necessary to have prior experience as a lifeguard and the ability to become lifeguard and pool operator certified if not currently. The swim club manager must also possess organizational skills, have the ability to meet deadlines, be competent in verbal and written communication, have weekend and weekday availability, as well as the patience to mentor employees.

Duties of the swim club manager include:

· mentoring and supervising a staff of 15-30 lifeguards as well as scheduling the lifeguards using our dedicated software

· maintaining both verbal and written communication with board members, staff, and patrons

· to conduct evaluations and make observations of the lifeguard staff to maintain excellent zone vigilance

· collaborating with the club board to prepare and plan special events, programs, and activities

· documenting pool chemistry and keeping compliant with associated health department regulations

· operate the filtration system

· to provide a well-organized, clean and safe environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
