Compensation:
  • Washington, DC: $75,000 – $95,000
  • New York, NY: $80,000 – $102,000
    Bonus & Benefits: Full benefits package + bonus

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a premier Am Law 50 firm to recruit a seasoned and skilled Senior Coordinator, Talent Acquisition to support lateral partner recruiting initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this role is essential to delivering a polished, high-touch candidate experience while managing complex logistics, senior-stakeholder communications, and confidential recruiting activities. This is a selective search. Candidates must bring law firm or professional services experience and demonstrate a stable career history to be considered for interview. The Opportunity This role sits at the center of high-profile lateral recruiting efforts, requiring precision, discretion, and exceptional coordination. You will work closely with partners, search firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure every interaction reflects the firms' standards and culture. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, detail-driven environments, anticipates needs before they arise, and understands the nuances of recruiting at the partner level within a professional services setting. Key Responsibilities Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform the following responsibilities to be considered:
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, managing multiple candidates across different stages of the recruiting lifecycle
  • Coordinate complex interview schedules across multiple offices, time zones, and senior stakeholders
  • Lead firmwide coordination and execution of private dinners and recruiting events for lateral partner candidates, including:
    • Logistics and scheduling
    • Communications and invitations
    • Budget tracking
    • Collaboration with partners and recruiting teams
  • Assist with market intelligence and competitive research related to firms and prospective candidates
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key stakeholders and search firms, providing updates, gathering information, and soliciting feedback
  • Support onboarding coordination to ensure a seamless transition for incoming partners
  • Provide flexible support outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate events and time-sensitive requests
  • Travel as needed to support recruiting programs, initiatives, and events
  • Contribute to additional recruiting and talent acquisition projects as assigned
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Law firm experience strongly preferred; professional services experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential, high stakes recruiting processes
  • Stable resume reflecting consistent progression and long-term roles
  • Ability to work hybrid (3 days onsite) in Washington, DC or New York, NY
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized) Candidates meeting these criteria will receive priority consideration.
  • Direct experience supporting lateral partner recruiting
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership, partners, or senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong understanding of professional services recruiting dynamics and expectations
  • Experience supporting multi-office or national recruiting initiatives

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Word, including document editing and comparison tools
    • Microsoft Outlook and web-based conferencing platforms
  • Fundamental to advanced proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, tracking, databases)
    • Microsoft PowerPoint (presentations and materials)
