As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for the location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor and report any unusual activities or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to students, staff, and visitors.
• Follow all applicable protocols for the armed post, including handling and securing assigned equipment and/or weapons in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Complete all required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely fashion.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
