Supply Work Center Supervisor VX-20

Principal Accountabilities:
- Coordinates and supervises activities of personnel, determining and directing specific work assignments.
- Assists in the operations of the maintenance departments per the CNAFINST series.
- Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
- Ensures all work is scheduled and performed safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for compliance with special programs as assigned. Ensures direct reports are fully compliant with all approved procedures.
- Performs aspects of technical supply management work such as inventory management, storage management, and cataloging related to squadron supply activities.
- Performs physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise manually loading or unloading transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or motor vehicle.
- Performs a variety of warehousing duties such as verifying materials, merchandise, and or equipment against receiving documents and routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; taking inventory of stored materials; and removing materials from storage and preparing it for shipment.
Other Desired Experience: Experience performing analysis on logistics data. Two years NAWC/ NAVAIR experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Safe working techniques and procedures.
- Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work requirements.
- Requires working technical knowledge of facilities, and equipment.
- Understand technical language terms in the associated fields.
- Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Must have full knowledge of the Navy series and the RDT&E community
- Knowledge of military and/or company forms required by work requirements.
- Working knowledge of safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Possess a valid US State driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret data is required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to obtain a Government flight line driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years' experience performing functional duties for the position assigned independently.
- Three years' experience supporting aviation maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply/ logistics policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated use of technical publications and guidance.
- Demonstrated use of equipment logs and records and specific experience in the position assigned.
- Experience with CNAFINST compliance.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
- May work in Aircraft maintenance hangar or outside.
- May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.
- May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.
- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.

- The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for locations in the state of Maryland and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
- Maryland Salary Range:
- USD $106,000 - $109,000
