River City Security & Investigations (RCSI) is hiring reliable Armed Security Officers for night and overnight coverage across multiple client sites in the Chattanooga area. We're looking for professionals who maintain composure under pressure, communicate clearly, and represent the company with integrity.

You'll be responsible for ensuring safety, enforcing client rules, and protecting property after business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible presence and deter criminal or unsafe activity
  • Conduct thorough patrols of buildings, parking lots, and perimeters
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, or disturbances quickly and appropriately
  • Complete daily activity and incident reports using company software
  • Enforce site rules and report violations or safety issues
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and local law enforcement when required

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Must possess a valid Tennessee Armed Security License (current or transferable)
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to work overnight hours (including weekends and holidays as needed)
  • Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills
  • Prior military, law enforcement, or armed security experience preferred

Pay: $ $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
