Seica USA is now hiring a: Test Service Engineer I (2nd Shift)

Business: Provides ICT Program Development and Test Service Support

In this position the Engineer is part of a team that is offering ICT Test programming and board testing to customers. The engineer is an individual contributor but is part of the test service team working closely with the Test Service Supervisor and Manager.

The main responsibilities of the test engineer are:

· Provides programming and test service support

· May need to interact with Seica Application group on some low-level technical problems

· Ability to interpret schematics and troubleshoot problems

· Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with limited supervision

· Ability to write technical customer communications clearly and concisely

· Ability to multi-task with attention to detail being extremely important in this role

The engineer must be able to work in a dynamic environment where there are often changes in priorities. Training will be on 1st shift for 1-3 months and then switch to 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) working Monday-Friday.

This is an onsite role and will be a temporary to permanent benefit eligible position after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.

The engineer is expected to have some general knowledge of the topics below;

· In circuit test

· Functional test

· Circuit design review

· Graphical programming

· Programming languages (C++, Python, Labview)

· 3rd party instrument integration

· Printed circuit board fabrication process

· Reverse engineering

· SMT process flow

Education: BSEE, Associates in Electrical Technology or equivalent.

Recent or soon to be graduates are encouraged to apply.

Experience: 0-3 years

There is no relocation package available with this position.
