Inside/ Counter Sales- Parts

Colorado Springs, CO

Reports to: Parts Store Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $25.00-$35.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Conducts sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone, by email, and over the
• Promptly identify parts and process quotes & orders for
• Actively makes customers aware of product
• May load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and
• Responds to customer inquiries, questions, or concerns regarding products or
• Records inventory discrepancies
• Follows up with customers
• Determines best method to resolve customer issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Computer skills are essential, HVAC Parts background is preferred
• HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
