Position Overview:

As a Private Tutor for True Education, you will play a pivotal role in helping students K-12 excel in their ACT, SAT, AP examinations. You will work closely with individual students to provide personalized tutoring sessions, focusing on enhancing their test-taking skills, understanding of subject matter, and overall academic confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tutoring sessions for students preparing for the ACT, Digital SAT, AP exams.
  • Assess the individual learning needs of each student and apply accordingly
  • Cover key concepts, strategies, and test-taking techniques relevant to the school work or exams.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Stay updated on the latest changes and developments in education specifically in testing.
  • Communicate effectively with center director regarding student progress and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, English, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a tutor for SAT exams.
  • Strong knowledge of the content and format of the ACT and DSAT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Salary: $ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8– 40 per week
