Schedule: Flexible (may include evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage)

Position Overview

We're seeking a compassionate and organized Residential Manager to lead our 24-hour residential programs. In this role, you'll supervise staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with state and agency standards—all while promoting person-centered care and meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Oversight

  • Manage medication administration and documentation
  • Train staff on medical procedures and compliance
  • Coordinate medical appointments and follow-ups

Safety & Emergency Preparedness

  • Conduct evacuation drills and safety inspections
  • Train staff in emergency protocols and safe equipment use
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Individual Support Planning

  • Develop and implement ISPs tailored to each resident
  • Monitor progress and update plans as needed
  • Plan recreational and community-based activities

Leadership & Communication

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor staff
  • Foster teamwork and open communication
  • Uphold Edwards Center's values in all interactions

Operations & Compliance

  • Manage staff schedules, payroll, and documentation
  • Oversee resident finances and program budgets
  • Ensure training and certifications are current

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in residential or human services (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Strong documentation and computer skills
  • Leadership aligned with our mission and values

  • Calm and professional demeanor in high-stress situations
