As a Electrical and Instrumentation Technician (E&I Tech) you will be responsible for the day to day electrical maintenance of the Portland plant which would include but no limited to industrial process controls, instrumentation installations & calibrations, troubleshooting of processes, equipment repair & installations and general electrical building maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Instrumentation and Electrical aptitude.
  • Minimum 2 years Instrumentation and Electrical experience required.
  • Thorough understanding of equipment selection for applications and equipment operation.
  • Thorough understanding of P&IDs, loop drawings, and electrical drawings.
  • Thorough understanding of troubleshooting, equipment set-up, instrument calibration, and maintenance methods.
  • Thorough familiarity with test equipment and measuring instruments used with instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • Familiarity with APACS and DeltaV distributed control systems (DCS) a big plus.
  • Basic understanding of how equipment works and the fundamentals of preventative and predictive maintenance, and equipment calibration.
  • Experience working with chemical processing equipment preferred.
  • Able to work in a team environment with other technicians and maintenance trades, production personnel, management and engineering.

Required Certification:

  • Possess a minimum of an Oregon LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) license or better

Education:

  • High School Diploma

  • Work schedule would be Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts

The expected compensation range for this position is between $62,700.00 and $104,500.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
