For more information, visit or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier.About This RoleAs a Project Manager you would be responsible for leading the Engineered to Order (ETO) Data Center cooling projects at Carrier from the engineering team. You will play a crucial role structuring and leading execution of fast-paced, high visibility special-order chiller design projects for data center applications. In your role project coordination, process/information flow, and data exchange responsibilities would be global in nature with a focus on ETO products manufactured in our North America facilities. This role will oversee business critical projects comprehensively, from managing requirements to supervising daily engineering activities, and interfacing with cross-functional teams to support product build, testing, and delivery to the customer. This role demands strong communication and leadership skills to guarantee that custom products consistently meet the quality and reliability standards akin to our standard products. You will collaborate closely with multi-functional operations teams daily to achieve project success.Key Responsibilities:Customer engagement and requirements management of key customer accountsLead ETO projects, organize engineering team activities and collaborate with cross-functional project teams for timely delivery of projectsSupport initial production and issue resolutionsLead engineering reviews with leadership and communicate project metrics effectively.Uphold safety and regulatory codes and practices throughout project workflows, processes, and product development.Identify and implement corrective actions, solutions, and process improvements.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of work experience in industrial manufacturing3+ years of experience as engineering project leadPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or interdisciplinary engineeringExperience in the HVAC industry and materials planningProven experience in project leadership and effective teamworkStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbalWillingness to travel occasionally (
