What you'll do

  • Utilize MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for effective metalworking.
  • Perform pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging to support installation processes.
  • Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to ASME codes & standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on construction sites to install equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction site environments with hands-on welding experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely.
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes including soldering, machining, and assembly.
  • Solid understanding of basic math principles for accurate measurements and calculations.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experienced with Industrial installation, welding and fabrications.
  • Knowledge with rigging, setting equipment, working at heights.
  • Able to work in town and out of town. with Per-diem and overtime pay.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and team members.
