CULTA is currently looking for our next Senior Facilities Technician. The Senior Facilities Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and performing minor repairs to facility HVACR, plumbing and electrical systems. They will be responsible for performing all HVACR preventative maintenance and required tasks under the direct supervision of the Head of Facilities. They will also handle receiving goods and delivering items to departments and maintaining stock levels.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in equipment relocation, office moves and basic janitorial duties.
- Must ensure all tasks are being performed efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with all current SOP's.
- Responsible for maintaining full compliance throughout the facility and keeping up to date with all maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with contractors as needed to perform tasks necessary to keep facilities and equipment in proper working order.
- Will be mainly a hands-on worker involved in all aspects of systems functionality in the Culta facility. This includes monitoring systems and inspecting for proper function, as well as making recommendations for repairs, and either completing the repairs in house, or arranging third party vendor repair.
- Work independently on projects in the absence of the Head of Facilities.
- Performing preventative maintenance on all facility HVACR and Water Management systems. Coil cleaning, filter changes, drain maintenance and other required tasks.
- Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
- Inspect deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
- Organize and store products appropriately as per company and MCA standards.
- Maintain records of requisitions, deliveries, returns, etc.
- Conduct and record regular inventories of storerooms and warehouse.
- Maintain communication with Accounts Payable and Procurement Manager concerning inventory and receiving needs, concerns, and daily workflow.
- Daily delivery of orders and requisitions to various departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, GED equivalent required.
- Higher level of education preferred.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Must hold an EPA certification for safe handling of refrigerant and or have the capability of receiving a EPA Certification on their own within 90 days of hiring.
- Trade school in either HVAC or electrical is preferred but previous job experience could count toward formal school requirement for the right candidate.
- Ability to work on feet and remain active for long durations, work on a ladder or raised mobile platform, as well as be able to lift 50lbs. or more regularly each day.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills and the ability to follow direction well.
- A strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and or electrical components are required.
- Accurate attention to detail and decisive reasoning skills.
- Self-motivated, self-starter.
- Must be able to work onsite.
- Competent in computer skills to permit record keeping functions.
- Must be able to qualify as a registered agent with the State Commission and may not have any violent or drug related felony convictions.
