Seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant for a 150 unit apartment community located in Dallas, TX to begin immediately.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Responsible to market the property and lease all the units at the acceptable company rental rates;
  • Prepares appropriate applicant suitability and qualification checks to validate if the applicant meets the company resident standards;
  • Prepares leasing agreements and reviews thoroughly with the resident applicant;
  • Maintains current knowledge of the community, its services, and the other apartment communities in the area;
  • Collects all rents, deposits, fees, late charges, and deposit funds into designated account then notifies corporate office of the transaction;
  • Approves, prepares and submits monthly property invoices to the corporate office after a thorough review;
  • Handles resident concerns and complaints promptly, with respect, dignity and kindness. In those instances where this is difficult to achieve, assistance from the manager and corporate office may be requested;
  • Physically walks and inspects the entire property on a regular basis and checks on vacant apartments; and
  • Professional appearance must always be in accordance with the philosophy and policy of the company.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prior experience in the apartment industry is required;
  • Strong operational background;
  • Excellent communication skills; and
  • Familiarity with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
