We are a respected South Bay independent auto repair shop with a rare opening for a Master or Senior Automotive Technician.

This position is for a professional who takes pride in their work, values honesty, and wants to be part of a shop that treats technicians with respect. We don't churn people, we don't play games with pay, and we don't tolerate drama.

Position Overview

This is a lead-level technician role with responsibility and trust.

You will:

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
  • Troubleshoot electrical, drivability, and intermittent issues
  • Help mentor and guide junior technicians
  • Work closely with the service advisor
  • Occasionally assist with technical explanations when appropriate
  • Take ownership of your work, quality, and outcomes

This is not a flat-rate churn shop and not a clock-punching environment.

Requirements

  • ASE Certifications required (Master Tech strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of real diagnostic experience
  • Strong diagnostic thought process and problem-solving ability
  • Professional attitude and strong attendance
  • Ability to work well with advisors and a small team
  • Honesty is non-negotiable
  • Low-ego, no-drama mindset
