About the Role:

We are hiring a Data Scientist on behalf of our client, a leading organization focused on data-driven decision-making and digital innovation. As their implementation partner, CredX is helping them onboard top-tier talent through our verified applicant portal.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building machine learning models, analyzing complex datasets, and generating actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models and machine learning pipelines.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Design A/B testing strategies and evaluate results to guide product and operational improvements.
  • Visualize and present findings through dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, or TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of statistics and probability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Exposure to big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop is a plus.

Work Model:

Hybrid (3 days onsite in Chicago, 2 days remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84, $112,669.00 per year
