LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN
REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities and Managing Director of Tennis
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some weekends when necessary.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Club Operations Manager at the Midwest Tennis Center, you will be responsible for making sure the members have a top notch experience. Oversee the daily operations of the Midwest Tennis Center while fostering strong relationships with current and prospective members to maintain a welcoming and professional environment. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with proven team management experience and the ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
THE ROLE:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front office, locker rooms, and all other amenities
- Ensure that facilities are maintained to high standards, including cleaning, repairs, and general upkeep.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are stocked and functioning properly.
- Foster strong relationships with current and prospective members, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Respond to member inquiries, resolve complaints, and address any issues regarding club facilities or services.
- Manage membership renewals, orientations, and new member sign-ups.
- Supervise and manage a team of full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees, and facility staff.
- Organize promotional events and open houses to attract new members and increase visibility.
- Identify opportunities to expand membership, enhance services, and improve facility offerings.
- Regularly assess the performance of the club and make recommendations for improvements.
SPECIAL PROJECTS:
- Represent the club at community functions and industry events to build relationships with key stakeholders.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Required
- CPR Certified and AED knowledgeable within the first 30 days of hire - Required
- Previous experience managing a tennis club or sports facility. - Preferred
- Current or previous experience in directly managing a team (2+ years or more) - Required
- Experience with membership management systems and software. - Preferred
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for members. - Required
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Required
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations. - Required
