The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:
RTX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Business Systems Application Support team. This role involves the development, maintenance, and support of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular emphasis on database experience as a must-have requirement. Candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Additionally, experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential for success in this role.
What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, ). as well as Proficiency in back-end technologies such as , Python, Java, or .NET. Experience with database technologies (e.g.,Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).
- Application architectures and related technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential.

Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to application development and support.
- Previous experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Certification in SAFe or other Agile frameworks is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
