Role Overview:

As the Director of Health Systems Sales, you will spearhead our Health Systems Executive team, driving the management and growth of our key strategic accounts, both existing and prospective. This role emphasizes enhancing the customer experience, focusing on revenue growth from current business, competitive conversions, and forming strategic value partnerships. Success in this position requires talent development, fostering a customer-centric culture, and adhering to organizational best practices. This role will report into the Head of Health Systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor: Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive deal processes for large, complex opportunities, while coaching the team in their development and performance.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and expand relationships within assigned accounts to increase share of wallet and strengthen partnerships.
  • Player/Coach Role: Engage with high-level executives and key decision-makers in clinical and procurement roles, while mentoring team members to develop customer advocates.
  • Accountability and Standards: Ensure adherence to best practices and standards, including management tools, IDN Summit events, regular internal stakeholder meetings, and reporting on IDN business health.
  • Competitive and Product Knowledge: Guide the team in understanding the competitive landscape and the value of all LD products within Health Systems.
  • Market Insight: Utilize industry tools to track market trends and tailor solutions to meet evolving needs.
  • Data Collaboration: Partner with data analysts to accurately report revenue performance and projections.
  • Talent Management: Identify, recruit, and nurture high-performing industry talent.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize the portfolio and enhance performance.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Enterprise Services to ensure comprehensive account management and coverage.
  • Culture and Leadership: Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and success through Servant Leadership principles.

Required Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:

  • Experience: 5-8 years of leadership experience in healthcare sales, with a proven track record in commercial roles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of laboratory diagnostics and capital sales processes.
  • Strategic Expertise: Proven ability in strategic thinking and implementation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and earn trust from executive stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent process orientation, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Leadership Success: Demonstrated success in previous leadership positions with high performance.
  • Market Understanding: In-depth knowledge of the IDN market, healthcare consolidation, and the strategic value of SHS.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 50%-80%

This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy. The base pay range for this position is:

Min $168,800 - Max $253,200

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
